Growing up I used to rearrange my bedroom and my bookcase on a regular basis; when I moved into my own apartments and homes, I rearranged furniture and décor until I felt each room was laid out to maximize use and space and looked pretty; even at my office I reorganized the supply closets and files. And I organized office events including décor, shopping and wrapping gifts.  Little did I know this would be the basis for my company:
I Can Help!, LLC.

I started the company in June 2014 and have enjoyed working with local realtors and residents to help them get houses sold, organized, decorated etc. I will travel up to 50 miles from the Annapolis, MD area to offer advice and help. I offer reasonable rates and large project discounts. I am insured and bonded through Allstate. So check out my services on my website and let me know if I Can Help you!

I am an Accredited Staging Professional trained by Staged Homes.com ® which is the premier accredited designation for professional Home Stagers and Realtors® in the real estate industry.

Selling a home is not easy for most people. I know because I have sold four homes so far in my lifetime! My goal is to present your home, in the best possible way to promote quick sales and full-price offers.

Proper home staging is a great value.  A few hundred dollars for a home review and a written report can translate into thousands in mortgage savings when your home sells more quickly. It’s possible for a well-staged home to sell above the asking price too!

Most realtors and home sellers wait until they are ready to sell before hiring a home-stager, but many homes can benefit from a staging consultation several months before the house is listed. And if you want to avoid surprises just weeks before settlement, consider hiring a home inspector to go through the house to point-out potential code violations, some of which may be as minor as missing outlet and switch covers. Some buyers will accept a home with such problems, but a few dollars and some time to install covers will help a home sell for its full value.

To reach your goal of selling your house, I walk through your home and see what a potential buyer might notice and use as a reason not to buy your house. My recommendations may come across as nit-picking, but I assure you buyers will be even pickier. The more recommendations you can follow, the better your house will come across which can lead to quicker sales and higher sale prices.

I prefer no-cost or low-cost solutions to most home issues, but there are times when a larger problem needs more than a coat of paint to fix.  Even when such a situation occurs I try to suggest the most cost-effective solutions. Replacing outdated or broken fixtures or appliances may be necessary but upgrades don’t need to be the most expensive option, and depending on the age and style of your home, may not look right.

I have listed a few home-staging basics on my Home Staging for the Real Estate Market page,
but if you want the full benefit
of my home-staging skills, call me at: 443-204-9136 to schedule a home visit.
